You take the most wonderful pictures, so full of color. What's cool about getting up that early to take these, is that you captured that morning for ever. Thanks so much for sharing. Mumzie

I try to find something beautiful to photograph everyday and share it with you who are interested. I hope the photos will bring you happiness and assurance that we still live in a wonderful world.
About My Photographs
I consider myself a hunter of a different sort, Beauty and wonder are my prey. Nothing is hurt, lessened, deleted, or wasted. No pain or tears or sorrow. About Me
Amanda Barber
Central Washington, United States
I am the second of 4 children raised in a small town in Louisiana. I now live in Central Washington State after spending several years in Montana. I describe myself as a sentient being who is part cowgirl, part hippie chick (left behind the day I became a mother but still have the memories), part tree-hugger, and I have an interest in fashion and girlie things. My concerns are over-population, cruelty to animals of all kinds, the destruction of wildlife habitat, and the destruction of our beautiful planet. I am married to my best friend Ron who is a native Montanan and have a 20 year old son named Cody, 3 dogs, a golden retriever named Joanie an ancient Pekenese named Cyndy Lou, and a young pekenese named Sophia. I also have a beautiful Missouri Foxtrotter named Red-neck Annie and a 6 year old Peruvian Paso named Poncho. I enjoy riding them down the trails. I also enjoy fishing and driving the golf cart for my dear hubby and of course I take my camera where ever I go.
"Sexiness wears thin after awhile and beauty fades, but to be married to a man who makes you laugh every day, ah, now that's a real treat!" Joanne Woodward

Oh what a beautiful morning. Looks like a storm approaching.
Beautiful shots, Amanda. I was too lazy over the weekend to get up early and see the sunrises.
Very dramatic skies. It was worth getting up early for.
What magnificent colors in this series of sunrise photos. Well done, I'm in awe!
The colors remind me of bruises. But still beautiful anyway.

You could sell seats on that veranda. Stunning, stunning, stunning!
Beautiful morning. Love the colors.
I'v been known to get up at 4.15am too to catch the sinrise and shiver in my nighty as I hoof up the hill to get a better view.
Your sunrise is a wonderful wake-me-up indeed! The first shot is just magical with the most unusual colour palette.
If it's purple it's for me. Moody gothic and so atmospheric.
What spectacular colors! Wonderful photo series!
I'm glad to be back after 10 days gone. I was just checking blogs, and these are just beautiful photos, Amanda! Nice work.
